The Sculptor
Here you will find sculptural additions/changes as I learn to cope with the mundane portions in my life. This is one of the many things I love to do. Learning what works best and when is more difficult than I had imagined. One piece at a time. One moment at a time. This was the original basis for the creation of Nine Point View. When looking at a thumbnail or rough draft for a sculptural work I break it into nine views.
N/S/E/W, above and all points between.
What the heart sees, the hand feels. What the heart feels the soul sees. What the soul sees is the fabric that is made of this earth, each soul a thread in a magical tartan of colors that sooth and thrill the senses into a new reality. I am a dreamer, a seer, a weaver, a builder of hope learning how to darn the broken threads in my own world through tears, clay and poetry. May this page bring you peace, joy, and understanding.

This pic was cut from a recent video while being made since the file is too big to load at You Tube. I was listening to U2’s Mysterious Ways while working and so created the video with edits accordingly. This remains private until I have permission from U2 to use the work publicly with mine.

These pics are from todays works. Just thumb nail roughs for a larger work when the materials
become available. The lost wax process would begin with a wire frame maquette as a foundation
before making the desired form with clay. Since this was a quick piece I used a pencil for stability. Think of the skeletal frame we have…and all those wonderful layers. The final image should attach itself through the senses…to the viewer. For what is art other than an expression of man’s emotions.

As each work suffers…I release a bit of hope into the world.
For peace. There is too much loss.
